How do I create an account?

Download Gomate from the App Store and sign up with your Apple ID or email address. You will be asked to choose a unique username during onboarding.

Can I change my username?

Your username is permanent and cannot be changed after it has been set. This ensures a consistent identity across the app. You can update your display name at any time from your profile settings.

How do I find activities near me?

Open the Discover tab to browse activities in your area. You can filter by activity type, date, and distance. The map view lets you see exactly where each activity takes place.

How do I create an activity?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen to create a new activity. Add a title, description, date, location, and the number of participants you are looking for. Your activity will be visible to other users nearby.

How does the chat work?

Every activity has a built-in group chat. Once you join an activity, you can message other participants to coordinate plans, share updates, or just say hello.

Is Gomate free?

Yes, Gomate is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden fees or premium tiers.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings screen within the app. Go to Profile, then Settings, then select "Delete Account." This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including activities and messages, will be removed.

How is my data handled?

We take your privacy seriously. Your location is only used to show relevant activities nearby and is never shared with third parties. For full details, please refer to our privacy policy.

I found a bug. How do I report it?
